Have been experimetning with food and doses before bed in order to get my sky rocketing morning readings down, had some success, was 9.5......

In the amazement and excitement I forgot both insulin injections and made my way to work........

8.30am - 15.8 (5units)
9.30am - 16.4 (1unit)
10.30 - 12.7 - finally coming down

Not going to feel good today..............😡

Just need to test every hour and make an educated guess on what novo to give for corrections...

Its just typical novo, after all the hard work and you forget your injections! There won't be many insulin users who haven't forgotten their injection from time to time so don't worry about it and I hope your levels come back down to normal levels by the end of the day. Toby.

Thanks lads, I have another background dose at dinner so everything should be back to normal by then..............my routine is religious, thats why I am annoyed, I even forgot the BP tablets......

10.6 at lunch there so I must be doing OK........
