...was treated by 2 of my closest friends to a Spa day as a belated birthday present! Have had a massage and a facial, a swim, a healthy lunch and a good old gossip! Heaven! Is it normal though to feel a bit sore after the back massage? She did say that it felt quite knotted and tense (no surprises there!) Enjoyed it anyway - it was lovely!!:D Katiex

Lovely to hear you had a good day at the Spa - what a treat ! I especially like the enforced stillness that a facial brings - you can't get up and walk about while having a facial. What a smashing present from your friends.

And yes, if you were tense down your back, it often does feel like you've been walked over by an elephant but that's how I like my massage to feel - can't stand the "butterfly" touch.

🙂

Ha ha! Yes, Faith, a very large elephant! I have lower backache now though and wonder if that's normal? I've never had a facial before and was pleased to be told what lovely skin I have! Made me feel much better about all my other imperfections!:DKatiex

Yes, reached my half century last November Amanda! As we all work in schools, half term was the best day for us to have the Spa treat! I've never had a facial before, but would definitely do it again. Loved it! They used fabulous smelling, top of the range products and finished with a cooling eye mask. It was heavenly! Hope you enjoy yours as much in March!🙂 Katiex

Sounds fantastic, hubby bought me facial/massage vouchers for Christmas and I can't wait to use them!

Oo Katie sounds magical, my OH thinks a facial consists of buying me a flannel and bar of Dove
