They were both very pleased with my continued lowering BS levels & my estimated, from mySugr app posted by @Flower on iPhone, HbA1c this week is now 49. Went from 60 four weeks ago & been steadily dropping each week as I input the figures: GREAT incentive to test!

The dietian is NOT going to teach me to carb count because my food diary has shown that I don’t really need to! I HAVE noticed it myself that the amount of carbs don’t affect me as much as the amount of cals do so, don’t mind about that.

Since my energy levels are increasing, I’m going to start going on my mini trampoline & I’ll have to phone in more often. Every two weeks, sooner if need be, to adjust insulin doses, basal & bolus, as I build up to longer sessions. I’d already noticed the delayed drop in BS levels the 1 time I was on the trampoline!

I will get another appointment sent to me in about 2 months time.

All in all, I’m quite pleased with my visit! 🙂

Great stuff @Lanny you should be proud of how much you have learned and achieved is a short space of time.

Well done you. Positive feedback always helps and gives us incentive to keep going each day.

We'll done Lanny:D 60 to 49 shows you really worked hard at it and have come up trumps ~ managing diabetes isn't easy by any means. I'm so pleased for you.:D
