Morning Guys,

Just woke up, I had much better sleep than the previous night.
I woke up several times, as I had quite a bit of tea that time.
This time I awoke with a slight low-mood, however this is to be
expected given recent events. I was so disappointed that my latest job
finished much sooner than I expected :(

Oh well, and I have had my antis reduced too. However, I understand why I feel this way, as I have some debts which although reduced thanks to work are still there. Part of me enjoys the temp work, due to the fact that the pay tends to be weekly. However, the downside is that the contract can end sooner than anticipated.

On the plus- side the diabetes seems well controlled, as my Doctor has recommended I do the HbA1c every six months, so my next one is due in Jan 2013. My last reading was just under 6 in old money. Blood pressure is good.
That is something to be positive about. 🙂
I am looking forward to seeing my therapist on Tuesday got a bit to talk about....until the next rant....

Sorry your last job ended early, but it was work. I hope you get something else soon.

Knowing why you feel the way you do helps and iti is good you have some help.

I hope you are feeling better.

As you say, rustee, most systems of work / pay have upsides and downsides. As you don't always have much choice about what work you can get, you just have to go with the flow. Glad to hear about your good BP and HbA1c readings.

Only one of the five employers I have each year is a regular contract, but only 1 weekend in 3, plus some extra work paid at the same rate, plus another on invoices (throughout year, but not July & Aug), two others on sessions, one throughout the year, the other seasonal (warm months only), and one for mornings & evenings a few weeks spreads throughout the year.

Still, I try to focus on enjoying the variety and the postive factor that it's highly unlikely all 4 sources of income would get into trouble at the same time 🙂

Thanks Guys,

As ever you words of encouragement are priceless. One thing I have noticed though, whenever I made a concerted effort to lose more weight, suddenly I can feel a bit low like this. Some of my issues could stem from my weight. Although my confidence was on a high from losing quite a lot (6 stone) previously.

I am less prideful than I was previously, I would be quite selective about the jobs I would apply for, thankfully I stopped that method of thinking. Years ago I used to think that all directors and big-wigs of companies were "superbrains". No such thing, years of work experience has taught me that the gift of the gab is the majority. luck a close second and ability and knowledge the remainder. This was compounded when a recent course said 80% is due to how you come across. frustration is how I would describe how I am feeling at the moment.
until the next rant
