The deed is done although I did have to swap to a new finger pricker in March so benefitted from a new unplanned lancet.



Why am I so lazy when it comes to changing a lancet which takes seconds? It really does make such a difference I’m now on Level 4 not the maximum level 7 🙄

I am hereby turning over a new leaf in my lancet changing practices....

Having reminded everyone else with this post last night, I needed to see the updates to remember to do it myself today and then I momentarily forgot how to do it... ie where it twists apart. To be fair, now that I am using the Libre I hardly need to finger prick at all, so I am becoming a bit rusty at the whole process!

Gosh that is like a bag of sweeties.... definitely makes it more tempting to change it more often when you have such lovely colours to choose from. I have a big box of boring blue too which will take me several lifetimes to get through but some of the glucometers I have had have come with a few lancets in bonny colours like bright pink and the one selected for this year which is turquoise.
