A junior doctor threatening Jeremy Hunt with legal action has accused the health secretary of using independent healthcare trusts to “do his dirty work”.

Dr Francesca Silman said the government was putting pressure on employers to impose new pay and working conditions on junior doctors to combat Hunt’s inability to do so.

She added hospitals operating outside local authority control were under “huge financial pressures” and that one government agency had already threatened to remove trainee medics if trusts refused to issue them with the new contracts.

Speaking ahead of a High Court challenge today, Dr Silman accused Hunt of imposing his contracts by stealth.

“This is something we’re a bit worried about,” she told BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme.

If he's trying to do it stealthily, he's not doing a very good job, is he?

Oh dear, oh my how can they even dare to suggest that the Messiah, the saviour of the NHS n it's hour of dire need could resort to such skulduggery and sharp practice. This is after all the white sheep who acted with complete proberty when dealing with the flock of black Murdoch sheep during their attempted coup at News Group not too long ago. Why, the very thought of it.....................

We all know that the junior doctors have too much to do with too little resource Monday to Friday. The best thing for them is the added pressure of a load of forced weekend hours. Why can't those silly doctors just get on with it and stop their dreadful whining?
