Just looking to hear what other people's experiences are.
I'm on the omnipod/ libre combo ( not looping)
I'm planning on joining a gym this week and was wondering what people do with their pump settings whilst working out ?

Thank you

It depends what type of workout you will be doing.
My workouts are primarily cardio (Spin class, treadmill, cross trainer, etc.). For this, I suspend my basal about 30 minutes before I start and cancel it 30 minutes before I finish. I am using Fiasp which is relatively fast acting. When using NovoRapid, I had to do the suspension earlier.
If my BG is on the lower side (4s and low 5s) when I get to the gym, I will start with some weights as this raises my BG. So, if your workout is lifting weights, you may find you need to increase your basal.
One of my other activities is climbing which is definitely short bouts of resistance training with a huge dollop of adrenaline thrown in. I increase my basal by 40% for climbing.

Agree with @helli. If you doing aerobic stuff, most people need to reduce insulin, as you're likely find your blood glucose lowering. Whereas if you do anarobic stuff your blood glucose will likely rise. I say "likely" as we're all different. Some people do anarobic first and then aerobic. It can help balance things out without adjusting insulin too much.

I'm also on Onmipod Dash with FreeStyle Libre 2. I DIY loop using Trio. Seems to work well for when I run.
