Shaun from IESO here. We have been working with Diabetes UK to raise awareness of our study, looking at the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals with Type-II diabetes who are struggling with anxiety or depression based difficulties.

Due to the nature of studies there is an inclusion criteria, which includes the following...
  • Have type-II diabetes and have been diagnosed over 12-months
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be experiencing mild to moderate Anxiety and/or Depression: we are unable to support individuals suffering with secondary care mental health symptoms such as Psychosis, Bipolar disorder, etc. If you are struggling with these conditions or with active suicidal thoughts we would encourage you to see your GP as soon as possible
All sessions are of course free, one-to-one with a highly trained CBT therapist or Psychologist, and are done online via a messenger based web app. If you would like to put yourself forward to access the study:

Please call 0800 074 5560 or sign up Online at: www.iesohealth.com/diabetes-study
