hey all,

just wondered what you all work as??

would be interesting to know what different jobs you do while living with diabetes.

Hi there,

I retired the first time two years ago and the second time is looming - through health (not diabetes) rather than age.

A similar post ran sometime ago under 'off the subject' - still on the first page...

How about you tell us what yous does?

I work in good old iceland the now lol 😛😛

i was at college last year but left for now, might go back though 🙂

i work in West end of london in Picadilly, with six lads that like to drink their body weight in alcohol every friday so its hard for me to keep up as im a tiny lil girly!!!

love it though, and believe it or not my boss is really cool about me having to go for check ups, had hypo in sleep once and obviously wasnt in work but totally understood etc!!

i work in finance by the way, tres boring but a good laugh at the same time

I work for a youth charity, mainly managing volunteers and training them to mentor young people. I also do some direct youth work with young entrepreuneurs helping them with business plans etc.

have done many things over the years, nursing, cabin crew, manager in cosmetics, selling houses, waitress

since being diabetic.......selling houses but that gone belly up in that industry for now, made redundant and now back in cosmetics in department store, shift work the worse bit 😉
