Hi Joanne, welcome to the forum🙂 It's bound to be worrying for you - I think this is much harder on those who care for the person with diabetes than the person themselves, especially children. Stick around here Joanne - there are lots of parents who have given us lots of happy success stories to offset those worrying times, and they are a great source of support and advice whenever you need it.🙂
I'm a mum too so know what you are doing through. We are 2 1/2 years down the road and i will admit to a rough patch recently. This group had been a fantastic support when I needed it and hope you find the support you need. None of us should do this on our own so glad you have found us.
I'm a mum too, my son was diagnosed with type 1 three months ago now, its been a rocky road and I worry about my son all the time aswell. This site has been a great help for me and everyone is lovely.
Hi Joanne, it must be SO hard to cope with a diabetic child, I think all you parents in that situation do a fab job.
As you can see, there are plenty of other parents on here in the same boat, so feel free to come on here with questions, moans, rants etc, you're never alone when you're a member of this forum. Welcome.
