well Ive had my yearly diabetes revue not good I'm 7.5, over the past 4 years Ive been 7.5/7.0/7.0 ,
the doc just gave me an extra tab called januvia Ive to take 1 a day ,
the annoying this is Ive kept my sugar levels under control 6.0-8.0 though i have to say Ive never been one to exercise apart from walking Ive been told to walk more lol

Januvia is also known as Sitagliptin, that's what I'm on in addition to the Glucophage 1 x 100mg per day. I suggest you take it in the morning rather than at night as it was giving me night hypos.

thnx alisonm ,

im a bit apprehensive about new tabs after all the trouble the last lot caused me ,i take metphormin 4 a day as well as this new one ,
will take it in the morning and see what happens thnx

With all new tablets, take it and see what happens. If it works as it should, that is good, if you get any side effects or are not happy about anything, you can always go back and talk about it.

I know what you mean, I had a terrible time with Metformin and Gliclazide, I just never got past the plumbing upsets, but since I've been on Glucophage and Sitagliptin the problems have been far fewer.
