just watching Jamie's 30 minute meals.......... and apart from the banoffee pie it all seems really edible 😛 and easy. clever Jamie 🙂

new potatoes, salad, a salsa, a fish bake with veg and pancetta....... I'm going to have a go at that :D

They do always look good and fairly easy, but my problem is that I just never have those types of ingredients in the house and to buy them just for one would usually be prohibitively expensive :(

That's easily solved. Dinner round Northerner's tonight, everyone!

yeah.... I live alone too.... but usually cook for 2 one day and warm up the left over portion the next day

in the fish bake which served 4 was a portion of salmon per person.... 2 unpeeled and uncooked prawns per person.... a lemon cut into 4 .... a chopped chilli.... half a can of anchovies and half the oil (the other half went into the salsa)..... a handful of asparagus..... some fresh herbs.... olive oil and salt and pepper. looked so easy and healthy 😛 and the only things I wouldn't normally buy would be the fresh prawns and the anchovies

I do half snigger at the 30 minutes....

Yes for a trained chef who's used to dashing around a kitchen at full pelt, and not looking at a recipe book once may be so..

Standard non trained chef no chance even if you didn't need to read the recipe book!

But don't let that deter you, as I do have the 30 minute cook book, and I do mix and match etc... And his chocolate mousse is absolutely lush🙄
