...hope it continues. I would like to be optimistic 🙂, but by inner diabetes demon says otherwise
7-day average hit 10.3 4-weeks ago, currently 7.7 (7.3 lowest recently)
TIR hit 48%, currently 84% (88% highest recently)
Over last 16 mths only had about 30 days with 7-day average less than 8, so not best time. Been told not get obsessed with the numbers, but find that difficult.
Saw my own doctor, diabetes consultant (probably due anyway) and diabetes dietician. Got what sounds like really useful updates/reminders - eat more carbs & insulin to match (must avoid ketones), rotation/use of injection sites. And if DP/FOTF kicks in, then correction ratios are different when no DP/FOTF (take 5 units QA at about 04:00 when above 13 (reduces BG to about 9) as have hit 18+ at breakfast), then sometimes up to another 5 at 07:30 when BG gone up again to about 13. Just a nightmare trying to control.
