During my morning walk I spotted watermelons for sale. I love the stuff.Obviously i bought a chunk of it and once at home proceeded to eat it. Although it is slightly early in season it was delicious. Yum...

Watermelon is everywhere here, and cheap as chips. They come in every size from medicine ball to grapefruit dimensions.

Coincidentally, I bought one a couple of days ago, about the size of a cantaloupe -25p. The grapefruit sizes were about 12p.

It’s so refreshing after a walk in the heat, and at c7.5gr carb, per 100gr, it’s not dire on the eating front.

Who can eat just 100g of watermelon though?
Juicy goodness in every bite.
I think the last piece I bought while walking in Rome was about 1kg!
