It wasn’t my fault M’Lord!!

Went for a spa day with my three daughters yesterday. This was much needed as have had a tough month with Mr Eggy. Had a swim, sauna, steam rooms and manicure. Then we went in the Jacuzzi and one of the jets blew off my Libre sensor! Now do I ‘fess up when I phone for a replacement or do I tell a little white lie and say it fell off in the pool? 🙄

Not recovering as well this time and to make matters worse he had a particularly nasty bout of cellulitis last week, I had to drive him up to the hospital everyday to have IV antibiotics. Then they kept him in on Friday to do more tests as he had been suffering from unstable angina. May be the infection or antibiotics we don’t know but he came home late Saturday with more angina drugs! Taking it slowly at the moment, still waiting for referral for Freeman, but has two cardio appointments in January. Can’t wait to see the back of this year!
Just book yourself and a friend in for a spa day and present him with bill! Just be careful in the Jacuzzi with your Libre! 😉

I agree with the others. How wonderful to be with your three daughters in a spa! Just what was needed I imagine. I also have three daughters, when my middle one comes back from Australia, no date yet, I think I will take them for a day spa.
I hope Mr Eggy feels better soon and next year is easier for you both.

It was fab, it’s very rare we are all together on our own. We had a real giggle and a lovely relaxing time. We have said we are definitely going to do it on a more regular basis.
