Hi Steff, you may find your GP will eventually get you up to 2000mg a day, this was a killer for me so I had to drop the doseage... I was then swapped to slow release metformin (and had no nasty side effects) and have just gone back up to 2000mg and so far so good... I am on insulin as well..

I had a pneumonia jab when I was in my 30's and was told it lasts for 10 years, I had flu jab in one arm and pneumonia in the other lol... can't remember how many years ago it was though so I could be due it again sometime soon 😱 lol

well if how i have felt today carries on i will b e camping ootside GPS back garden the gassyness and the pains is dreadful, o.h has near invested in gasmask twice today

Eeeuuuuwwww Steff! This did settle down for me after a little while on Metformin, but still occassionally raises it's ugly head!

I'm back there too Steff since the doc increased my dosage to 1500mg per day.🙄 I really hope it settles down soon. I'm not missing the Gliclazide though, no hypo last night.🙂
