That’s a joke of course, even if there was a cure unless I get a pancreas transplant nowt is gonna help me! Fortunately, things have moved on since that fateful day when I received a letter, yeah, a letter, to tell me I was now a Type 2 diabetic. Of course it wasn’t a shock, when you’ve had two thirds of your pancreas chopped out it was more of an inevitability, the fact it took almost three years was the shock! When I got my appointment with the DSN she gave me Metformin, told me to lose weight and eat pasta! Hmmm...good job I found this forum isn’t it? Ten years on and I’m now a fully fledged Type 3c, on a MDI regime and on the whole kicking D’s a**e! Here’s to the next 10 years. 😛

Happy belated Diaversary @eggyg

Same from me @eggyg happy belated 10th Diaversary.😎

It's been 10 years, so you must be cured. Any problems you think you might have must be all in the mind. Snap out of it!

Kidding, of course. Happy 10th @eggyg !

I must admit I sometimes think I’m imagining it and it can’t possibly true. :D

The pile of stuff with pharmacy labels around our homes, usually confirms we're awake though, don't you find? 😉
