Hi friends,

been dx for 4 months, lost weight etc, numbers down,

but just some times i feel soooooo tired like i have been drugged and need to go to sleep which i usually do lol,
achy, and a slight shakey body, like when you had a an off day before you knew it was diabetes!

can this be down to diabetes? having a diabetic off day kinda thing?
i'm on diet and ex only, numbers are in the 6s which is ok,
i do check my numbers when i feel like this but they seem ok:confused:

i know it could be my age, pre menapause etc, but just wondered if it could also be down to diabetes off days?
thanx for reading xx

If your levels are fine when you feel like this then the chances are that you would have felt like this, diabetic or not. I think we sometimes forget that we used to have days like that before diabetes - I know I often have to remind myself! 🙂 There is always the possibility that it could be something else, I know quite a few members have underactive thyroids, although I think this is more prevalent in Type 1s - but if worried then do see your doc. Hope such days are few and far between for you! 🙂

thanx northerner xx

yes i am telling myself it could just be "me" lol, but these are the symptoms i went to the GP with just before i was dx,

anyway of to a family BBQ later so hopefully it will have gone and i will enjoy myself lol thanx again

I wonder if it's your body giving you a false hypo feeling? As you have only been diagnosed for four mths, it would take your body a little time to adjust to being normal! again. Just a thought 🙂 Hope you feel better soon.

thanx for your reply sue, i have just had some lunch so a little better thank you very much xx
