I understand the delays, the pandemic, the stresses etc.

I tried to find out when my next diabetes consultant appointment would be because I really could do with their input.

Is it worth pushing it to get one as soon as possible or just wait?

It’s all linked to my other issues going on which have been going on for nearly 2 years and the GP is dealing with.

Yes push it if you need their input.

Yes push them. They can't help you if they don't inform them.

Push away, at least for phone appointment anyway if having difficulties. Opened post today got appointment for October with pump team, not phone so things must be looking up, still might get cancelled again.

As my Endo said, at the peak of the pandemic last year, when my GP would not facilitate blood test papers (for the blood to be drawn in the hospital test centre) for a (telephone) clinic appointment,.................... "There's more going on than COVID, and people need their care".

Within a couple of hours of that call, the GP Receptionist rang to ask me to collect the blood papers.

I agree with the Endo. People need their care.
