Is Dexcom enough?

It’s easy to think of tech as an easy option or a fix for diabetes, or just a ‘when this is in place it will all be ok’. The reality is that tech is a tool and sometimes it helps and sometimes it adds to the anxiety. Getting a balance can be tricky. You’re still in the early days and it will take time to get your emotions there (and it will be up and down anyway).

Have you been advised to do a finger prick for hypos or readings that aren’t what you expect to back up the dexcom reading? We only had a Libre which tends to be less accurate the more out of target you get but had to check with finger pricks for accuracy of hypos etc.
