My GP added this new medication and since it been added I have lower back pain. It's so bad that spoke to the GP but she said it will be okay in 3 - 4 weeks as the body gets used to it. Does anyone else having the same side effects or is just me. If anyone has the so what is recommended or how to handle the pain. Thanks in advance

I do not recall having that symptom, certainly not severely. Unfortunately I have an inflammatory arthritis so occasional mild pain there is so common it would not have stood out.

But I had had more migraines and upset stomachs since starting it that I do no think they are connected, but I do not know for certain. They are not constant enough to make a direct connection, and seeing a doctor is not easy at the moment. I do not think they are normal side effects, which gives me some doubt and it may just be a coincidence. But given the minimal benefit I gained from it, and now I seem to be under control with insulin, I may stop taking it to see if it helps.

However if your pain is not unbearable then waiting a month is the normal advice because it can take that long to adjust with any medication.
