Hi, asking my question in a different way in hope of getting a response.
Sorry but I had to look this up as I had not heard of in before. As to me PEG means polyethylene glycol.
For information for anyone else
PEG stands for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, a procedure in which a flexible feeding tube is placed through the abdominal wall and into the stomach. PEG allows nutrition, fluids and/or medications to be put directly into the stomach, bypassing the mouth and oesophagus.
Can't help I'm afraid but somebody might.

Sorry, I shouldn't have assumed. Thank you for explaining

Hi, asking my question in a different way in hope of getting a response.

I did a search for you before @Sparkle but because PEG is a short word/acronym it didn’t work. If you try searching in the box at the top right of this page for, say, whatever condition or reason you need this, or common reasons to be PEG fed, you might discover threads talking about it. I swear I’ve read something about it here before but I can’t remember what or when.

My brother in law was borderline diabetic and on metformin before he had a stroke, and I had to keep telling him to leave off the biscuits! He's now PEG fed and his BG is "normal", and he is no longer on metformin.
