Hi there I want to make something but I don't know how to work out the carb content if anyone can help can you message me please thanks.

I don't understand the question.
You're trying to cook something and you like to know the calorie and carb level of the meal?
To have a reasonable guess you should take a table of the nutritional facts of the ingrendients, there are on plain old paper, there are websites, there are programs for personal computers (and mainframes and minicomputers too) and of course application for smartphones.
Then you muliply the weight of the ingredient you use for the calories and carb and add up all.

Note that with glycemic index cooking a food and mixing with other food will make the value completly different.

Some software (not tried extensively)
http://thinkle.github.io/gourmet/ http://nut.sourceforge.net https://cronometer.com/download/ http://www.dietorganizer.com http://krecipes.sourceforge.net
Some website (and app)

Right it's truffles I want to make I know the carbs for each of the 2 ingredients so I add them together but then do I just devide the total carb content by how many truffles I get out of the mix x

I think that sounds right. But remember to then multiply it by how many you eat! 🙂

Oh I'd only be having 1 or 2 at a time haha so the chocolate has 22.5 the cream has 1.3 so 23.8 and say i make 10 truffles so that would work out as 2.4 each to be on the safe side have I done that right sorry to be a bother :( x

That's right if the 22.5 and 1.3 are the carbs for the amount of choc and cream in the recipe, not just for 100g.

carbs for choc = carbs for 100g (look on label), divide by 100, multiply by no of grams of choc you are using.

Same for cream, then add, and divide by number made to get carbs each truffle.

Hope this helps!🙂

yeah that's for the 100g of choc I will be using and the cream thank you very much you've all been a great help 🙂 loving this forum, now is anyone ale to help with is there any carbs in cinnamon, food flavourings - vanilla etc.

You are not a bother, so don't ever think that. We only know the answers because we asked the questions when were diagnosed 🙂
Hope you enjoyed the truffles 🙂
