Hi, I have been asked if someone on the site would like to receive a meter shortly to be introduced by Sanofi that connects directly to these two devices, and provide feedback to the company. I don't have any such fancy gadgets so was wondering if anyone here would like to try the meter and report back to them? From what they say, I think the meter must be the iBGStar:

Please let me know if you would like to participate 🙂

Tempting but could prob do without another gadget for a while. I presume they would be supplying enough test strips to last a while and that they'd prefer someone with both products so it can be thrashed to death in all situations.🙂

I've asked what sort of feedback they would be looking for, so will let people know if I get an answer 🙂

I'll ask the question Marc 🙂 Maybe if they let me know what sort of feedback they are expecting then it will be easier to tell how long they wish you to use it for.

i'd be interested :D sign me up!

If they need type 2s and more people I would be interested for dad. We have 2 iPhones and an iPad and I keep copious notes with food and exercise diaries!!

OK, I have an update on this, send me a PM for contact details 🙂

People with Type 1 diabetes and bloggers are being asked to trial a new blood glucose monitor for two weeks and then provide feedback on their experiences. We will be providing to those involved a feedback form and they will be asked whether they would be happy to be contacted for further qualitative telephone interviews and potentially be available for media interviews, should this be something they would be interested in being involved in. The only criteria for this activity is that patients are Type 1, over 18 and own an Apple iphone or ipod touch (OS 3.0 and above). If they are interested in trialling the blood glucose monitor please contact xxx
