Has anyone updated there phone to iOS 18.3.1, I know there was a post about it, just wondering if anyone has had any success with it

I did mine four days ago and have had no issues with it since.

I did mine weeks ago. No problems at all, in fact I’m hardly getting signal loss which was a major pain in the butt pre the upgrade. Using Libre 2.

Ive just had a new phone, well not brand new my daughter gave it to me as she has a new one, not sure if it needs updating to be honest, I will ask her.

Hope the upgrade goes smoothly if you try it @Woodywoodpecker

Having healthcare bits and pieces on your phone that you rely on does make it much trickier to decide when it’s right to ‘risk’ upgrading the OS doesn’t it?

Especially when the ‘benefits’ of upgrade seem to be fancier emojis and similar largely irrelevant fluff!

Yes it does, not done it yet

How do a do that
I do this on my laptop.

Log in to iTunes, and plug my phone (or Pad) in, via USB. I go to my Account (by clicking the phone icon at the top-ish left side of the screen, then, in the circumstances you are in, I will be offered the update to download and install or something else (might be just download). I reject that (i.e. hit the X in the top right corner), then on the bottom, right quarter of my screen, I have the option to Back Up. I back up to my laptop.

If it hasn't been done for a while, or before, it can take several minutes.

When done, I unplug my phone and update it.

I religiously back-up before any software update.
