Just been watching TT. I have been a couple of times once on the bike. Been on the Laxy wheel & mountain. Sat on hay bale at Crag-Na- Bar. Magic but V fast. Been on the Joey Dunlop simulator. Basically the back of a van with hydraulics. Motorbike handle Bars nearly touching both sides of kerbs. MAD but good 😱. 😉

Aye, mad. Only 270 folk have been killed since the races started in 1907. That’s only two and a bit per year.

In proper pro racing at proper courses with decent run offs rather than stone walls deaths are rare.

Lunacy in spades, the TT.

My postie is currently in hospital with lots of fractures as well as having a hefty medical bill to pay after crashing at the TT this year and having to be air lifted back to the mainland.
I used to be a biker so I can understand the thrill but I stick to sitting astride just one horse power these days, although that is not without it's dangers!
