Hi just wondering if anyone is taking this med. I have started taking it but reading online reviews about possible side affects are worrisome....anyone got any experience with this med?

Quite a lot of people take this type of medication to help alongside dietary changes. It helps the body remove excess glucose via urine so it is important to drink plenty, at least 3 litres a day to avoid dehydration. Obviously reducing carbohydrates as they convert to glucose is also important so you reduce the likely hood of UTIs and yeast infection (thrush) from sugary urine.
I think it works well for some people.
