The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) says it's considering resuming an investigation it started into the death of a patient at Stafford Hospital almost six years ago.
Gillian Astbury, from Hednesford in the West Midlands, was a diabetic but wasn't given insulin for 48 hours while in hospital where she was being treated after a fall in 2007.
An inquest in 2010 found there'd been gross failure to provide basic care. The HSE suspended its investigation when the Stafford Hospital public inquiry was announced.
