Hi all just got back from the local a&e after going in for major disequilibrium (known as dizzyness) and head aches as I just had my second AZ jab 5 days ago and maybe paranoid about the clot issue which was bearly heard of at my first jab, (now your saying whats this to do with the d?) And got an interesting diagnosis from them.
It appears that when my sugars ran out of control before my diagnosis and even now when there still a bit high (hba 60 last week) its changed the make up of my inner ear (balance) fluids and is causing dizzyness/disequilibrium (and yes they are different who knew?) This combined/ competing with something called cerviogenic dizzyness (neck damage I've a broken c7 vertebrae rtc last nov) were and are causing me not a few problems on the balance front and have been for months which my gp (which ever one it happened to be that phoned back this time)kept putting down to vertigo and un connected to the t2 I've got.
Anyway I went in to a&e for the unexplained headaches which increased my dizzys and they turned out to be caused by sinusitis which has been putting pressure on the inner ear increasing the dizzys and giving me the pain they were very thorough even got a ct scan. Sadly the only cure is time for all 3 problems (with bs control) and the neck may never fully fix
I suppose the point of this ramble is to let people know that its not just neuropathy that can effect the ears/dizzys of people and even the smallest of problems can lead to an unexpected and potentially long term outlook.

Goodness @Stuvart!

What a lot you have discovered all at once! Good job you went to get checked.

Sorry to hear about the dizziness. Hope things begin to improve for you before too long.
