My wife had to go early for a blood test from our GP, which seems to have put my mind somewhere else. Today is my second fasting day of the week and when it came to lunch time I realised I hadn't had my 50 units of basal Levemir. Took my BG - 6.5, so decided it was not worth injecting and just to hang on to dinner, lunch of corned beef and lettuce. Come dinner time BG - 6.7 so normal 60 units levemir and 1.2 victoza. Now bedtime and I'm going to have to eat something as I'm down to 4.8

Conclusive proof that food puts up my Blood Glucose.:D

Well of course, food always does, try starving instead? Obviously it does you good LOL!

Suggests that your levemir is covering your normal food intake to quite a degree! 😱
