Hi

Not sure it was me or someone else in the house who did it but the fridge was left open for more than 8 hours , discovered when I got home. My Nova rapid and levermir I know can last a month outside of fridge but obviously I'm not ready to use this batch yet that I keep in the fridge. The pens were warm instead of chilled. Any one had this happen before, would it make much difference now that they are chilled again? Can't get hold of doctors to ask

Thanks

I have had my insulin out of the fridge when on holiday for a week and returned it to the fridge when I got home with no ill effects.
You say the insulin was warm, as long as this is no warmer than room temperature I would not be concerned.
It may be a good idea to do a bit of extra testing when you use one of the pens from the fridge just in case.
But I would not be concerned.

Hope it has survived unscathed @jazzchicken

Like the others, I’ve taken spare insulin on holiday whuch has got up to room temp before being refrigerated again with no apparent ill effects.
