i wouldnt think it was safe to use out of date insulin but i could be wrong. i dont even have mine long enough for it to go out of date lol

I haven't got round to taking it back to the pharmacy yet, not sure about just chucking it out, could put it in the sharps I suppose.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it's not going to be dangerous the day after it's date. You would easily be able to tell if it had lost it's potancy.
 
lol well true you'd have a huge hyper!!!
