Relationship to Diabetes
Hi,

I come from a family of diabetics (all type 2)- grandparents, parents, and sibling are all diabetic. Recently heard about this insulin pill and that Diabetes UK has some information on it.Was wondering if it is available in the market and if so where can I get it?

Thanks a million

Welcome to the forum Shyami.
The reason why insulin has to be injected instead of swallowed is because insulin is destroyed by stomach acid.
Are you thinking of air jet insulin through skin without needle, perhaps, or other medications, oral or injected, to treat type 2 diabetes?
If you want to contact Diabetes UK charity directly, it's best to look on www.diabetes.org.uk website, as this forum is staffed by volunteer moderators at weekend, and has has many very well informed posters. You could also post on Ask Diabetes UK thread, which will be answered by staff during 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, but not constantly monitored during those times.
