POTENTIALLY-dangerous medication and needles were stolen during a burglary in Blackburn, police are warning.

Five insulin pens, normally used for treating diabetic patients, were taken from a property, in Devon Road, along with sentimental wedding rings, earrings, a laptop and cash.

Police said the NovoMix 30 FlexPens, and attachable needles, could be harmful if they were used by people who had not been advised to take the medicine by a doctor.

Wonder what the thieves thought they were? . Evil, stealing medication and wedding rings, hope they catch them :(

Probably thought they were other types of medicine. In one way it may well teach the thieves a lesson if they tried on themselves with a big dose. More than likely though, they have sold it on to make a few pennies not realising what they took.
