Insulin calculation

Yes it's type 2. I don't think there is a problem with forgetting, just the way the units were being calculated. But things are improving since I suggested lowering the dose, or counting carbs.

I added to my post above @MarcR so do re-read it. On fixed doses, consistency of carbs is the thing. They can’t eat lots of carbs one lunchtime and very few the next as that will mess up their blood sugar.

Then maybe a few careful tweaks will restore their control. As people get older, it’s better to run slightly higher than a young adult would anyway. Hypos and low sugar aren’t a good thing for anyone but can come with extra risks alongside age.
