If your blood glucose was consistently high, before insulin, and now you’ve started the insulin it is coming down within range, then blurred vision is quite common, as the eye adjusts to having less glucose floating round in the blood capillaries. Eyesight should settle as your blood glucose stabilises. Opticians are aware of this, and shouldn’t sell you new glasses until your eyesight has settled.blurred vision..been on insulin 1 month..now got blurred vision...is this normal ..

It's best to bring glucose levels down slowly, to protect the eyes, as a too sudden drop in blood glucose can cause damage.
Hopefullly you will be. In the meantime, people have found that buying a cheap pair of magnifying reading glasses (less than a fiver) can help tide them over.many thanx for your comment...thats great ...hopefully i am back to normal very soon
