Injection area lumps

I injected Carly in her arms and legs for over nearly 2 years they're now bit lumpy so I'm injecting her in her bum, it's bit awkward in public. DSN suggested her tummy now she finally got bit of fat in there, Carly just started let me inject in there this morning so I wonder if anyone get any lump in their bum or tummy or is it just in the arms and legs??

Lumps will occur anywhere that is used repeatedly for injections. As long as you rotate injection sites, you can avoid getting lumps. So maybe dial back on how often you inject in the arms or legs (maybe once every two days?) for a while and then get a regular rotation system going.

Personally I bolus in arms, legs and stomach, and do a buttock injection for my basal.

You might also want to look at smaller needles and changing the needle more frequently, if you're not already doing so.

I do change the areas and used 4mm needle, she need 4-6 injections every day but she's so little. Shame lumps do happens in bum and tummy :-(

Lumps aren't inevitable though. As long as you allow a recovery period after using a certain area, it is possible to avoid them.
