Injecting before food and how long

I inject my insulin 5-10 mins before i eat, is this to short before i eat, i have heard some people inject after they have eaten,

What is the best amount of time to inject before or after food....?

If you having fatty foods, IE Chip shop chips and fish i always inject after, as it takes longer for the fatty food to digist or absord in to body or something.

Otherthen that,, most times as the food is being dished up.

I was told that with Novorapid I could inject 10 minutes before, during or 10 minutes after eating. I would like to know too if it varies with different types of food.

I inject anywhere between 10 minutes before, and straight after. depends on my blood sugar and the amount/type of carbs eaten.
