This link is to the Guts UK web site and looking at the suggested diet for diverticulitis it is not too dissimilar to the sort of diet for Type 2.
If people do have restrictions on foods they can eat due to other conditions then they will benefit from having a home testing monitor as it will enable them to see which foods they need to be careful of because they would raise blood glucose too much but also there may be foods that you reject which would be absolutely fine.
