Detroit?s bitter cold couldn?t stop Charlie Kimball from feeling revved Friday at the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Center.
The young American IndyCar Series ace spent time at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix exhibit with fellow IndyCar racer Juan Pablo Montoya and Cadillac Racing drivers Johnny O?Connell and Andy Pilgrim.
Kimball, who runs with Target Chip Ganassi Racing, had a breakout year in 2013 when he recorded his first series win at Mid-Ohio.
He overcame big names in IndyCar like Dario Franchitti, Scott Dixon, Helio Castroneves, Will Power and Marco Andretti to do it.
