Hi

I saw the consultant last week as I had been trying to increase my Byetta to 20 mcg as he had suggested but it kept making me sick.

So he asked me to reduce to 15 doing 1 morning before breakfast, 1 evening before dinner and one just before bed with no food. (totally 3 x 5 mcg).

I tried the extra bed time injection last Saturday and was violently sick again, so since then I have cut back to 2 x 5mcg. However i have actually felt this week that the Byetta hasnt been working - and haven't had a single bit of nausea.

Would you try a night time extra 5mcg again as suggested by the consultant? i just really hate the sickness (as anyone who has taken Byetta and had the sickness will know - its not nice!).

I have felt quite hungry this week though - which I shouldn't if the Byetta is working okay.

I would try again I'm on 10mg a day but getting moved onto 20mg next month I'm lucky not actually been sick just feeling sick so abit worried about increasing good luck

Thanks -will probably give it a go tomorrow night and see how I get on.🙂
