I’m back with yet another question!
For the past week I seem to be more sensitive to insulin. I’ve reduced my basal from 11u to 9u and my meal ratios are between 1:17 and 1:24 (up from 1:10). I have eaten several (Christmassy) foods without bolusing for it without a spike in blood sugar at all. No changes in lifestyle at all, thinking this might again be the honeymoon period?
My question is for people on the omnipod 5. I hopefully will get this pump at the start of the new year and i was wondering if anyone knows how it might deal with such big changes in insulin needs?
I can see how it changes the changes in background insulin, but would it change the bolus ratios too? Or would this be a manual adjustment?
