Good evening. I have recently had my Humulin I changed from 69 units once per day to 34units twice per day. My question is that I am I’ll at present with an infection which is causing my sugars to rise 20/23mml . Any advise , I am drinking plenty of fluids
Thank You

Perhaps a good idea to talk to your GP as Humulin I is a basal insulin so not much good for doing corrections. Other option is restrict your carb intake until sorted if not already doing so.

Good evening. I was contacted by the diabetic nurse today. I got a bit of a surprise. I was told that I was going to be discharged from the service!
I was advised to increase Humulin ! 38 morning and 36 units evening and kept increasing every four days. Have Hba1c 5 weeks.
I am a bit surprised that I will be discharged, I fully take on that it’s mostly down to me, although I thought I may be put on another insulin
