31st of December 2009 husband diagnosed with Type 2 but we are confused and have a couple of questions. You seem such a friendly and well-informed group that we hope to keep in touch.

Hi Laural, welcome to the forum🙂 Not a very nice way to end 2009 fr your husband, but it is good that he has been diagnosed rather than not knowing, as he can now take steps to manage the diabetes. A very useful book for newly-diagnosed Type 2s is: Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker (amazon link)

This might give you a good starting point to begin understanding diabetes and what it means to you and your husband. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and we'll do our best to help out!

Aint it great caz i got it back in feb last year and i keep referring to it all the time .
