Afternoon all, I've not been on the forum for a long time but have come back to ask for some advice & hope everyone is still OK.
My HBAC1a has been getting worse, and last week I started a new treatment injecting once a week "Ozempic" (semaglutide) treatment.
1st injection last week seemed OK, but 2 days later I started getting nauseous everytime I ate, and have injected for 2nd week this morning.
Only been prescribing it in this area (Oxford) for a month, has anybody else started this regime, and if so have you had any of the side effects & come up with anything to reduce nauseous, this should improve as time goes by but not very nice at present.
Only taking metformin with it, taken off all other diabetes meds to avoid going low, but checks for first week suggest blood sugar going up, I assume as off most meds & new meds not yet in system properly.
Relieved my user name etc still current, feels good to be back, any meet ups planned this year?
Regards
Lynne

Welcome back @SimplesL! Sorry, I haven’t heard of that particular medication - is there anything useful in the patient information leaflet?

Hope someone else can give you some pointers.
