Calculated my evening meal bolus as 7 units and injected 8. D'oh.

Quick. Eat 10 grams of carbs (or whatever your ratio is).

I remember when I was on multiple injections, I once gave myself my background insulin before bed, 14 units, before realising it was actually novorapid I injected. I ate a lot before bed that night.

That is scary!

I've done that before, plus I once included carb g twice, maths not my strong point 🙄

We look back now and laugh. But at the time, yes. I remember trying to explain to one of my students, and she looked at me and said 'you got to eat loads of sweets. I don't see the problem'. She was 7.

Perfectly reasonable response :D

Ooops..... Keep some Jelly Babies to hand

Headed the hypo off at the pass. Only noticed when I was updating my spreadsheet and the numbers looked wrong. A level night to one and all.

Spreadsheet? You've put me to shame 😳

Oooh, I have several on the go at present - the one for what the new bathroom's costing us, the one for younger daughter's Bank Loan (bank of mum and dad LOL) and my BP one.

I don't actually keep one for diabetes, just download my meter.

Oops. I hope all s well now.
