Hi,

My name is Anna, and I am new to the site. I have had Type 1 Diabetes for 23 years. My Diabetes Care Team have recommended this site to me, as I am going to start on an insulin pump in June. I am interested in seeing other people's views and experiences with the pumps! 🙂
 
Hi Anna and welcome to the forum, if you have not already have a look at the pumping section in here , they are many im here who either are on pumps themselves or have kids on them, ranging in some that have just started in the last month to others who have been on one a while longer.x
 
hi anna! i'm just behind you with 19 years of type one under my belt. i'm really keen to get a pump but my team are not so pro-pump.

we've got a few pumpers on the board, so feel free to ask as many questions as you want!

Hi Anna, welcome to the forum 🙂 Great news about the pump, we have some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable pumpers here, and quite a few who are hoping to get them, so it will be great to share experiences with you.:D

Welcome.....i am fairly new to this site too still as well. I have found itvery helpful and informative. I have been T1 for 27 years and still have learnt new things.
Good luck with the pump. I don't have one but there are many peeps who do who can guide you along.
