hi there, i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes on the 23rd dec, great timing eh😱 I dont really know how i feel about it to be honest, im still trying to learn all about it. I have the doctors thurs to see what my fate is 🙂. I have to say though the nurses at my health centre have been absolutely fantastic with me. Hope to hear from peeps soon, Lou xx

Im type 2 as well. can i b rude and as how old you are. Im 20 n been type 2 for 6 years. What meds are you on??

Hi Lou, welcome to the forum🙂 Not the best Christmas present to get. Try not to worry too much though. It's good that you've got such great nurses and doctors - that will be a great help. Don't be afraid to ask any questions you might have, either to them or here, the more you understand the easier it will be to get to grips with things. It's better to have been diagnosed than to continue in ignorance, now you can start tackling it and getting things under control.
