hi Spiritfree I hope that you get the right medicine and advice to help you with this

Hi spiritfree.

It does sound nasty to live with. Has your doctor not given you any advice or meds ?

I've googled it and found this article which gives a list of possible things to avoid if they make it worse, as well as other advice...

I hope you get some help for it. 🙂

I had acid reflux and evil heartburn. I was put on a "proton pump inhibitor" for a month (pills), I can't remember exactly which ones.

I've been OK since, so what ever it was cleared up. But I suspect you need to be put on a similar medication.

I have Oesophagitis which is inflamation of the Oesophagus(Gullet) and also causes acid reflux. I have had it for many years and take Omeprazole capsules which inhibit the production of stomach acid thus reducing the reflux and other symptoms.
