Not very well at the moment, not sure whats wrong? Bit of a cold but its setting my asthma off quite badly. Sugars all over the place as a result.. Woke up at 9.7 this morning, didn't even eat anything much yesterday!

I think its from taking my inhalor/asthma pump which is a turbohaler and I have actually read that it can higher blood sugars. It makes me feel worse too from shaking/palpitations and I normally avoid taking it all together so you know i'm feeling pants when I do!

Blood sugars gone up to 10 now so thought maybe I better eat something protein to see if that helps it come down. Got some peppery scrambled eggs.

Just hope this passes soon, a little inconveniant since I don't actually have a doctor down here because i'm now registered at uni! Fingers crossed it'll clear up soon. Last time I was sick it took me a whole bottle of cough medicine before I was getting anywhere near better, I don't think thats normal!

I hope you feel better soon. If thing get too bad you can always call NHS Direct, or if there is a drop in health centre near you, pop in to them. The pharmacist will also be able to help you if you need it.

Hi Liz, sorry to hear you have been feeling so poorly :( I hope that you are feeling better soon, it can make you feel worse just by having levels higher than you are used to which is very nasty of the diabetes fairy.
